Melissa T. Wilson, 44, Wife of Raymond Wilson, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born September 25, 1965 in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Tyler and the late Peggy Baker Tyler Frazier. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She graduated from Furman High School.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Janet T. Brown (Carroll); a step-daughter, Jenny Studwell (Rob); a step-son, John Wilson (Rebecca); five grandchildren; a niece; Kayla Brown; a special friend, Chasity Wallace; and a special pet, "Candy".
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday at Faith Baptist Church in Bishopville with the Rev. Mark Payne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Wilson, Rob Studwell, Hugh Hood, Tony Christmas, Fred Sandy, and Clinton Humphries.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and at other times at 1655 Raccoon Rd., Mayesville.
Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of the arrangements.
