Funeral service for John Marion McManus will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah Baptist Church in Rembert.

Rev. Matt Mims will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. 

Johnny, 72, died Sunday, January 13, 2013, at his home in Rembert. Born February 5, 1940, Johnny was the son of the late Ethel W. and Ernest M. McManus. Johnny was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Springhill Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Masons, and served in the South Carolina National Guard. 

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Emily; his sons, Wayne (Terri), John A. (Mary), and Michael, all of Rembert; grandchildren, Catelin McManus of Clemson, Johnathan McManus of Columbia, Joshua and Christopher McManus of Rembert. Johnny will be greatly missed by those whom he loved. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pisgah Baptist Church, 8620 Black River Road, Rembert, SC 29128.
