James Edward "Jimmy" Branham, 61, husband of Jenifer Simon Branham, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at his home.
Born in Lee County, he was a son of Eula Mae Thigpen Branham and the late Jamerson Branham. Mr. Branham was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Rexam.
Survivors include his wife and mother, both of Bishopville; a brother, Heyward Branham (Cindy) of Bishopville; a sister, Mary A. Thompson (Tommy) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Justin E. Branham.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gene Stokes officiating. Burial will be in the Piedmont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 201 Ridge St., Bishopville.
