Vivian Irene Steele
Vivian Irene Steele, 81, wife of Robert D. "Bob" Steele, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville.
Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter to the late John Lewis Steele and the late Una I. Williams Steele. Mrs Steele was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Lancaster. She was retired from B.C. Moore and Sons.
Survivors besides her husband include a daughter, Linda S. Barker (Ralph); a granddaughter, Kerri A. Baker; a grandson,; Dustin K. Baker: and a sister, Mary L. Steele. She is also survived by her cat, "Miss Kitty"; a grand-puppy, "Lily"; and a grand-cat, "Moe".
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl S. Plyer; and a brother-in-law, Bert Plyer.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marie Ray officiating. Burial will be in the St. Matthew United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
