A Memorial graveside service for Dorothy Jean Kelley Lucas will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 4:00 pm at Turkey Creek Cemetery in Lee County, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Barbee Parsons, Rev. Marie Elizabeth Ray and Rev. Edward L. Davidson will officiate.

Visitation will be at the home, 2265 Bethune Highway, Bishopville Monday 5-7 pm. Dorothy Jean was born February 25, 1950, the daughter of the late Glenwood and Doris Watkins Kelley. 

She had at one time been employed by Mitchell Flying Service, but will be best remembered for her catering business and beautiful cake decorations. One of her greatest joys was hosting family gatherings for her extended family. 

She is survived by her two sons, Keith and Kelley Lucas of Bishopville, Aunt, Emily Watkins Best, Uncle Dr. W. Curtis (Joyce) Watkins, both of Camden, brother-in-law, Doug (Cathy) Lucas, Bishopville, special family friend, Jimmy (Grace) Polk, Bishopville, many cousins and loving neighbors. 

Her husband, James Kenneth Lucas, preceded her in death December 12, 2009.
