Linda Lee Rogers, 52, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her home in Columbia.
Born May 15, 1960 in Lee County, she was the daughter of Bobby M. Rogers Sr. and Lillian Kennington Rogers.
She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee Academy and the University of South Carolina. She was a longtime employee of Farm Credit Bank and had recently retired from IBM.
Surviving are her husband, Alan Scott; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby M. Rogers Jr. (Nancy) of Bishopville; aunt and uncle, Libby and Gary Rembert; cousins, Laurie Anderson and Leon Rembert (April) of Bishopville; mother-in-law, Frances Scott; brother-in-law, Keith Scott and sister-in-law, Kathy Reep, all of Columbia.
Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Piedmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of the arrangements.
