Fair H. Smith, 87, of Charlotte, formerly of Bishopville, SC, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville. She was born on May 28, 1922 in Mullins, SC to the late Maxcy and Dora Page Harrelson.Survivors include her son, Chip Smith and wife Rena of Bishopville, SC; daughter, Page Gupton and husband Kenneth of Huntersville, NC; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyburn Smith.
Memorials may be made to Bishopville Presbyterian Church Building Fund, PO BOX 66 Bishopville, SC 29010.
The funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Bishopville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ken Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday evening at Fair’s home in Bishopville.
