Grandmama was always such a strong, vibrant, and hard working woman, even to the very end. I know that she privately suffered many physical ailments for at least the last 5 years, but always used every bit of energy she could pull together to be on top of her game and in her beloved kitchen cooking all of our favorite dishes every time we ever saw her. This speaks volumes of the amazing love she had for everyone in her life that she used up all her energy to present herself the way we always remembered her being so that she could give us good meals and family gatherings. Every time she did this she would get through it without a word of complaint and then when we were all gone she would privately be very weak and sick because she had exhausted herself so badly for all of us. Even on the very day before her death she managed to do this for us by pulling together her last little bit of energy to perk up and ease our minds and give us one last opportunity to enjoy her the way we always remembered her being. Grandmama, you will be greatly missed and even in death you are still greatly loved!!!
