Dorothy Mozingo Stuckey - November 12, 2009

Graveside services for Dorothy Mozingo Stuckey, age 95, widow of Alfred Crosswell Stuckey, Sr., who passed away November 12, will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stuckey was born in Lee County a daughter of the late Hugh Lee & Bessie Rawls Mozingo. She was active in Church & Civic affairs, was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ruth Faith Sunday School Class and a mission group. She served on the Lee County Council on Aging, Board of Social Services, Zoning Board, Board of Education, was a Life member of  the Board of Lee County Senior Apartments. She was retired from Banking after 32 years of Service.

Surviving are 1 son, Alfred Crosswell (Freddy) Stuckey, Jr., Sumter, 3 Grandchildren, David R. (Christa) Kelley, Bishopville, Alfred C. (Leslie) Stuckey, III, Lugoff, Laura Stuckey, Columbia, 3 Great Grandchildren, Clara Ann Kelley, Bishopville, Caroline Stuckey, Ella Catherine Stuckey, both of Lugoff, Sister In Law, Faye Mozingo, Charlotte, N.C., several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Stuckey was preceded in death by a daughter Clare S. Kelley, two Sisters, Betty Vaughan, Margaret Honeycutt, two Brothers, Hugh & Joe Mozingo.
