BISHOPVILLE - William Thomas Hopkins, 41, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at his home.
Born in Camden, he was a son of Leo James "Jimmy" Hopkins and Judy A. Hopkins. He was employed by Fluor Construction Company.
Survivors include his parents of Bishopville; two sisters, Debra H. Holland (Elmer Jr.) of Bishopville, and Jennifer H. Bair (Wayne) of Cassatt; three brothers, James Hopkins (Karen) of Bishopville, Jonathan A. Hopkins (Stacy) of Chapin, and Neil Hopkins (Kelli) of Darlington; nephews, Newman and Hunter Bair of Cassatt, Robert Joyner of Bishopville, Alan Hopkins of Chapin, and Anthony and Thomas Hopkins of Darlington; nieces, Brianna Holland, Kayla Jordan (Chad), and Kelsey Hopkins, all of Bishopville, Julia and Catherine Hopkins of Chapin, and Caroline "Hedge Hog" Hopkins of Darlington; and a great-niece, Kaiden Jordan.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in High Hill True Light Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at 94 Lockhart Lane, Bishopville.
